Techniquest Spooky Science
Cardiff’s Techniquest is bringing science with a spooky twist this Halloween. Families can enjoy hands-on exhibits, creepy crafts, Ghoul School live shows and planetarium sessions all half term. On 25 October there’s a special Halloween Party, while adults can join the over-18s Shocktober Fest on 30 October with science shows, themed food and drinks, and fancy dress fun.
Super Natural Halloween
From 25 Oct – 2 Nov, discover nature’s magic at Llanelli Wetland Centre. Families can enjoy potion-making, wand-crafting, fungi hunts, minibeast trails and owl pellet dissections, plus a fancy dress competition on 31 October. A perfect Halloween day out in South Wales for curious kids and wildlife lovers.

Monsters of the Mine at Zip World Tower
One of South Wales’ most terrifying attractions returns 10 Oct – 2 Nov. Set on the haunting grounds of a former coal mine, Monsters of the Mine combines live scare zones with adrenaline rides like the Phoenix zip line, Terror Coaster and Cursed Climber. Expect high-octane thrills, nightmarish creatures and an atmosphere that’s pure Halloween horror.
Symphony of Shadows
On 30 October, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales hosts its Halloween Spooktacular at Wales Millennium Centre. Expect film favourites like Harry Potter, Doctor Who, E.T. and Jaws in a family-friendly concert of music, mystery and mayhem.
Halloween at The Morbitorium

Family Frights at Gower Fresh

Halloween Nights at St Fagans
From 29–31 October, St Fagans National Museum of History transforms after dark. Enjoy spooky storytelling, creepy crafts, scare zones and folklore, plus the burning of the mighty Wicker Man each night. With food stalls and family activities, it’s one of Wales’ most atmospheric Halloween events.

Wake The Tiger's Fear Soup
Running 1 Oct – 2 Nov in Bristol, Wake the Tiger’s Fear Soup brings interactive art installations, surreal adventures and beastly encounters to the world’s first Amazement Park. Expect Halloween creativity at its most imaginative.
Magic & Mayhem in Merthyr Tydfil
On 31 October, Merthyr town centre hosts a Halloween celebration with walkabout performers, face painting, jugglers and spooky street entertainment for families.

Halloween Mystery at National Waterfront Museum
Swansea’s Waterfront Museum presents Louby Lous Interactive Storytelling 31 Oct – 1 Nov. An interactive show with puzzles, clues and a dash of magic for ages 7+.
