Open Air Theatre: As You Like It
Cardiff Castle
The Lord Chamberlain’s Men – with a history stretching back to William Shakespeare himself – invite you to join them this summer for the sparkling comedy, As You Like It. One of the UK’s finest touring theatre companies present this great play as Shakespeare first saw it performed – in the open air, by an all male cast and with Elizabethan costumes, music and dance.

Djeliguinet is a renowned Guinean singer-songwriter, and has wowed festivals all over Africa and around the world. ‘Djeliguinet’ means griot-woman in the Susu and Malinké languages of West Africa. Fatoumata Djeliguinet is a woman overflowing with energy and skill in traditional instruments such as the balafon, djembe, kora, krin, and bolon.

The FIM British SpeedwayGP celebrates its 20th visit to the Welsh capital since it launched there in 2001, and one of world speedway’s must-see events will be even bigger in 2022.
There are few better sounds in world sport than four 500cc SpeedwayGP machines going wheel-to-wheel under the iconic Principality Stadium roof, with a crescendo of cheers and air horns from the stands providing the ultimate backing track.
