Vale Resort and Hensol Castle Unveil 2025 Christmas Party Packages with an early surge of bookings

The Vale Resort and Grade I-listed Hensol Castle, two of South Wales’ most popular destinations for Christmas celebrations, have officially launched their 2025 festive party packages; with enquiries already pouring in ahead of the peak booking period.

Located just 20 minutes from Cardiff, the luxury hotel and historic castle are offering a wide range of themed events this year, from traditional Christmas party nights to immersive live entertainment experiences. Whether guests are planning a celebration with colleagues, friends or family, there is a package to suit every partygoer.

At the Vale Resort, Festive Christmas Party Nights start from just £50 per person and include a Christmas-themed gin cocktail on arrival, three-course meal, half a bottle of wine and disco courtesy of the resort’s resident DJ. These popular nights are hosted throughout December, with the option to add an overnight stay from just £69.50pp B&B.

For those seeking a night of live music and nostalgia, the resort’s Through the Decades party nights – only £55pp – feature nostalgic performances from the band Covered Up, playing the best festive hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Also returning this year are the hugely popular Big Mac’s Wholly Soul Nights (£69 per person); a hip-shaking, high energy night filled with live big band tunes, guaranteed to keep you on the dance floor song after song.

This year will also see the return of the Vale Resort’s super(trouper) popular ABBA-inspired Mamma Mia! Night, as well as the brand-new collaboration to end all collaborations - the Dirty Grease Night - ideal for all of the Dirty Dancing/ Grease fans out there. Both priced at £65 per person, these lively evenings include a themed gin cocktail on arrival, festive three-course feast and live tribute entertainment; guaranteeing you’ll have the Time of Your Life.

Over at the enchanting Hensol Castle, the Gin'gle Bell Christmas Ball promises an evening of elegance and seasonal spirit. Priced from £69 per person, the event includes a welcome gin cocktail produced onsite at the castle’s own distillery, a selection of canapés, a four-course gin-inspired menu, and DJ / disco until late.

The ball takes place on three dates: 29 November, and 6 and 13 December, with overnight stays at the Castle starting from £89.50 per person B&B.

Corporate and private parties continue to be a key part of the festive season at both venues,with bespoke events available for groups of 80 to 300 guests, boasting exclusive use of private rooms, a tailored menu, festive drinks packages and full entertainment options.
