The all-new gym space offers state of the art equipment, new dedicated training zones and a brand new look for 2026.
South Wales’ iconic Vale Resort has today unveiled the completion of a significant refurbishment of its extensive gym in time to help guests kick-start their new year fitness goals, investing £500,000 in the latest in fitness technology and equipment, as well as all-new training zones, to maximise the health and wellness experience for guests and members.
The investment comes hot on the heels of the completion of the Vale Resort’s all-new wet and spa facilities throughout 2025, following an extensive £500k refurbishment programme; the two marking an exciting new chapter in the Resort’s commitment to providing a world-class health and wellbeing experience for all.
The new gym refurbishment includes the installation of brand-new Technogym equipment, offering the latest in fitness innovation and performance technology. Members can look forward to a comprehensive range of cutting-edge cardio machines, strength-training systems and functional fitness equipment, designed to meet every training style and ability.
Amongst the exciting new gym additions is the Technogym Checkup; a comprehensive AI-driven machine, using advanced measurement technology to assess physical and cognitive performance for users. All metrics are distilled into a unique Wellness Age™, an intuitive indicator that benchmarks progress against real age. Insights from the Checkup power an AI-driven Technogym Coach, which dynamically adapts training programs to optimise results for users.
As part of the redevelopment, new dedicated training zones have been introduced to enhance both group exercise classes and individual workout options. These areas have been thoughtfully designed to support an even more dynamic, flexible and inclusive fitness environment, with over 80 classes per week on offer.
The new spaces sit perfectly alongside the gym and spa’s 20m swimming pool, steam room, sauna and whirlpool baths, as well as squash and tennis facilities.
The gym’s new look and feel showcases a sleek, modern interior that perfectly complements the Vale Resort’s premium facilities. With open layouts, contemporary design features and a bright, motivating atmosphere, the space has been created to inspire every member and guest from the moment they walk in.
