The facilities are unrivalled with 80 Technogym cardiovascular and resistance machines with a designated ‘HIIT’ zone (high intensity interval training), including Wattbikes, favoured by world-leading athletes including Andy Murray and the British and Irish Lions squad. The stationary bikes, originally developed for professional and amateur cyclists, feature in the Vale Resort’s new HIIT classes and not only measure your power, speed and heart rate, but also analyse your pedalling technique. Technogym’s machines, which offer a high calorie burn where you can try virtual workouts that simulate climbing Mount Etna or scaling the fjords of Norway. Tanita digital body fat and weight scales enables members to measure their body composition, before recording and tracking those details in the mywellness app.
