Back from the underworld for their third fright-fest in a row, the Monsters of the Mine are clawing their way back to Zip World Tower this October. Prepare yourself for sinister shenanigans, bone-chilling thrills, and wickedly wild adventures in the shadows. Beware! These ghoulish creatures even stalk the parking lot—nowhere is safe in this immersive Halloween horror show. Choose from five ghastly Night Passes and dive into an evening of spine-tingling excitement that's guaranteed to make you scream. 

When: 18th October - 3rd November 2024, 7:00pm - 10:30pm


Meet Frankenstein

Hold onto your witch hats, folks, because Gower Fresh Christmas Trees Farm is transforming into a Halloween wonderland. This month the farm swings open its creaky gates, inviting brave souls for pumpkin picking in the eerily enchanting haunted fields. Choose your very own pumpkin to carve into jack-o’-lanterns of pure terror. You'll only pay for what you pick, so channel your inner ghoul and get ready to scoop some squash.

But beware! From October 26th things take a spine-tingling twist, embrace the spooky season with the Halloween Extravaganza. Perfect for little monsters, visit Frankenstein’s Haunted Dungeon and meet his ghostly gang. You can join the magical paint-along sessions where the wickedly talented Grotbags will help in creating a haunting piece of spooky art to take home.

Watch the wicker man burn

Scoop up your little goblins and ghouls for a night of fright-full family fun at St Fagans National Museum of History. Prepare for a special after-dark event that’s bound to send shivers down your spine and thrills through your soul. Wander around the Museum and encounter a host of ghostly guests straight from the eerie pages of Welsh folklore. 

Creativity takes a spooky turn with the creepy craft workshops. Make your very own eerie lantern or stir up a magical potion. As the night ends, witness the mesmerising spectacle of the Wicker Man burning. Make a wish as the sparks fly into the night sky.  It’s a tradition that adds a touch of magic and mystery to the unsettling atmosphere.  For those seeking an extra adrenaline thrill, enter the immersive spooky scare zone—if you dare!

The deep, dark wood

The Royal Mint Experience in Llantrisant invites you to step into the deep, dark wood for a spooktacularly fun family adventure. Sink your fangs into an immersive dining experience that promises hands-on food to tantalise the taste buds of even the pickiest eaters. Your culinary caper includes a hauntingly delicious picnic, brimming with goodies themed around The Gruffalo's Child. Celebrate 20 years of the beloved tale with festive games, bewitching photo ops, and a live re-telling of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s timeless story.

Join the ‘Believe in Beasts’ drawing competition and unleash your inner ghoul to sketch your visions of these spooky creatures. Submit your menacing masterpieces online from now until November 3rd, and your creepy critters could be shown at Wake the Tiger.

When: Drawing competition runs until 3rd November and drawings will be shown at the experience from 2nd October.


A hauntingly good time

Swansea City Centre is turning up the fright factor with a full day of free, family-friendly festivities to make your Halloween absolutely fangtastic! Ghoul-friends and Boogiemen, mark your calendars for Saturday October 26th, because St David’s Place in Swansea is gearing up for a spooktacular event that you won't want to miss. 

Spooks in the City returns for an all-day fright fest that will have you howling with excitement. From 11am, the area near the former Iceland shop will transform into a haunted haven packed with ghostly delights and eerie entertainment. And the best part? It’s totally free. There'll be lots of fiendish fun with themed activities that are sure to send shivers down your spine.

Do you dare enter the haunted realms of Margam Park for Fright Nights, an interactive horror adventure like no other. From ghostly giggles to heart-pounding horrors, there's something for every brave soul. With two options available , choose your scare event wisely! Family Fun – For ghoul-loving goblins aged 5 and up. Enjoy light-hearted spooky fun with jumps and giggles that'll leave the whole family howling with laughter!

Extreme Screams – Only for the fearless aged 15 and up. This is nightmare fuel for those who crave bone-chilling terror. Beware, professional scare actors stay in character, and their only goal is to haunt your dreams! Only attend if you want to be absolutely petrified.
