Taliesin Dance Days 2022
Enjoy a free dance festival in Swansea this summer!
Once again, Taliesin brings together performers from across the UK and beyond, dancing alongside local dance groups, in a world-class dance festival.
This year, Taliesin brings dance performance outside to you, across two weekends. You will be able to enjoy Taliesin’s Dance Days in Cwmdonkin Park, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June, and in and around the National Waterfront Museum and city centre on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 July.
Traditional and contemporary, circus and parkour, feature in this year’s programme of dazzling dance performance in unexpected places. The festival also offers workshops for all ages, with local Swansea favourites, Circus Eruption.
Don’t miss Dance Days in Cwmdonkin Park this June, featuring a rather unusual game of hide and seek, and exciting dance moves from Company Chameleon and in July, Swansea city will come alive, as we enjoy dance from County Youth Dance Company, Volcano Theatre and CanDo Hub in a new performance by Richard Chappell Dance, beautiful dance performance from Stopgap Dance Company and the magical family show from Theatr Iolo & Kitsch & Sync Collective, HOOF! You can see festival regulars, as well as welcoming Isaac-Clarke Academy of Dance’s Silver Swans, and The Great Insect Games! Catch them and many more at our must-see Swansea festival!
Dance Days 2022 is the 17th Edition of Swansea’s Free International Dance Festival joining cities across the globe, in celebrating dance!
