Get ready for an unforgettable four-day musical adventure in the stunning Welsh borders, 20-23 August!

Now in its 13th year, the Glasbury Arts Harp Summer School is back and better than ever - and you're invited to join the fun at Gwernyfed High School in Powys.
Whether you’re just starting your harp journey or already mastering advanced pieces, this summer school is your chance to immerse yourself in all things harp. You’ll explore four exciting genres - Classical, Welsh Folk, Jazz & Improvisation and Ensemble/Orchestral Arrangements - in a friendly, supportive environment alongside passionate musicians of all ages.
Led by a Dream Team of Harp Experts

The incredible 2025 tutors include:
Manon Browning – harp ensembles & orchestral arrangements
Eleri Darkins – traditional Welsh folk
Emily Harris – classical harp
Amanda Whiting – jazz and improvisation
Plus associate tutors Rose Graham, Bethany Coggon, and Mistletoe Chapman will be on hand to provide extra help and encouragement!

Saturday, Aug 23: Grand Finale Student Concert – a spectacular celebration featuring all participants!

Advanced (Grades 6–8)
Adult Intermediate (Grades 3–6)
Young People Intermediate (Grades 2–5)
Beginners (Grade 1+)
You don’t need to have taken exams - just bring your love for the harp!
Calling All Young Composers!
If you’re Grade 6 or above, don’t miss your chance to shine in the Harp Composition Competition! Compose an original piece that showcases the magic of the harp and email your score to eleri.darkins@btinternet.com by 5pm, July 14. The winner will perform at the final concert.
