Where can I Play Tennis & Padel?
Clubs
Wales is home to a network of tennis clubs that welcome players of all ages and abilities. Clubs offer everything from casual access, competitive league action, coaching sessions, family events, and social nights. With both membership and pay-as-you-play options at most clubs, there’s something for everyone. Clubs also act as a fantastic community hub where kids, parents, and friends can connect over a shared love of the game.
All registered tennis venues can be found on LTA Play website or the ‘Play Tennis’ App.
Park Tennis Courts
Thanks to a £3.4 million investment, many park tennis courts across Wales have been revitalised, giving more people access to modern tennis facilities. Booking a court has also never been easier with most sites available book online in just a few clicks & gate codes to access.
Most courts can be booked for around £3-£8 an hour, however many are free. These affordable hourly sessions are perfect for summer fun or regular matchups with mates. Book a court now, then grab a racket and head to your nearest park. All park tennis courts can be booked through LTA Play website or the ‘Play Tennis’ App.
Padel Venues
If you haven’t tried padel yet, now’s the time. This fast-growing sporting activity combines elements of tennis and squash in a game that’s perfect for all ages and skill levels. Padel courts are popping up across Wales, with numbers expected to double in 2025 and again in 2026. With its short learning curve and fun-first vibe, padel is becoming a go-to activity for friends, families, and anyone looking to try something new.

Tennis in Schools
Tennis has become a huge part of PE sessions in schools across Wales. Thanks to an LTA Youth Schools programme, which has trained over 1,300 teachers in primary, secondary, and special education schools for free. This program gives teachers access to expert training, fun lesson plans, and exclusive resources.
Every trained school receives £250 in funding for equipment or coaching, making it easier to give pupils a positive first experience of tennis. The result? More kids getting active & having fun in playing tennis.
