This December, something truly magical is flying into Cardiff when Cameron Mackintosh and Disney’s spectacular, Mary Poppins takes centre stage at Wales Millennium Centre from 3rd December, for six glittering weeks only.
Based on P.L. Travers’ beloved stories and the iconic Walt Disney film, this production brings the world’s favourite nanny to life with dazzling choreography, jaw-dropping effects and a score packed with songs you know and love. From “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” to “Step in Time,” “Jolly Holiday” to “Feed the Birds,” the show is filled with timeless moments that will have audiences humming all the way home.
Leading the cast are Stefanie Jones as Mary Poppins and Jack Chambers as Bert, who earned rave reviews in the Australian production before bringing their practically perfect performances to UK audiences. They’ll be joined in Cardiff by international recording artist Lyn Paul (The New Seekers), who takes on the poignant role of the Bird Woman.
