Easter in South Wales is bursting with egg-cellent attractions the whole family will love.

Go wild at Folly Farm
Easter is the perfect excuse to dust off the picnic blanket, grab the kids and make some memories at Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire. Part farm, part zoo, part amusement park, it’s a one-stop adventure that keeps little (and big) ones entertained from morning to evening. Spring brings the farm to life, fluffy lambs, bouncing bunnies, and a host of animals that are impossible not to coo over. Kids can get hands-on, feeding goats or stroking gentle ponies, making it a wonderfully tactile way to connect with nature. But the fun doesn’t stop at the barnyard. Folly Farm’s award-winning zoo is home to exotic favourites, think lemurs, giraffes and penguins and the talks and feeding sessions add a sprinkle of education to the excitement. Over at the vintage-style fairground, classic rides and arcade fun give the kids a chance to let off steam. This Easter, special seasonal events add even more magic with craft activities and themed games to keep the little ones entertained.

Thrilling Easter at Zip World
Nestled in the stunning Rhigos mountains, this Easter promises thrills for the whole family! For adrenaline junkies, soar through the air at up to 70mph on Phoenix, the world’s fastest seated zip line. Prefer to stay closer to the ground? Europe’s only 2-seater Tower Coaster delivers all the twists, turns, and laughter you could wish for. Grab a bite at the stylish Cegin Glo Bar & Bistro before heading home. Adventure, laughs and excitement, all in one epic Easter day out!

Celebrate 10 Years of Royal Mint Experiences
Since 2016, The Royal Mint Experience in Llantrisant has been giving visitors a behind-the-scenes look at over 1,100 years of British craftsmanship and this year, they’re celebrating a decade of dazzling experiences. Explore interactive galleries, uncover the secrets behind the coins in your pocket, and get exclusive access to the Circulating Coin Room, where the UK’s coins have been made since 1968. Kids (and grown-ups!) can try hands-on displays, dive into immersive stories, and even strike their very own special coin to take home. With engaging exhibits, behind-the-scenes insights, and a mix of history, science, and creativity, The Royal Mint Experience transforms Easter into a shiny adventure you won’t forget. Afternoon tea packages are available daily, making it a perfect treat or gift to round off a sparkling day.

Family Fun at the National Waterfront Museum
The National Waterfront Museum in Swansea is the perfect spot for a family day out this Easter. Explore hands-on exhibits that make history fun for all ages. Over the Easter holidays, the museum is packed with special events, from Holiday Make & Take craft sessions (28–30 March, 9–11 April) where kids can create themed keepsakes, to the Interactive Chocolate Detectives show (1–3 April) solving a deliciously puzzling mystery. Don’t miss Waterfront Easter Funday on 3 April for extra games, crafts and lots of fun.

Springtime Adventures at Llanelli Wetland Centre
Little explorers are in for a treat this Easter at Llanelli Wetland Centre, where nature, storytelling and outdoor play come together for a season of family fun. Running from 20th March to 31st May, this special spring experience teams up with Macmillan Children’s Books to celebrate Gozzle, the new picture book from beloved children’s author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Sara Ogilvie. Families can follow an interactive outdoor trail alongside, discovering the magical milestones of growing up in the wetlands. With storytelling sessions, seasonal activities and plenty of fresh-air adventure, it’s a wonderful way to celebrate spring together.

Scale new heights on the Stadium Walk

Climb over 200 steps along the bespoke westside walkway and ascend to the Arch, the backbone of this architectural marvel. From the viewing platform, soak in panoramic views of Cardiff’s skyline while a guide shares fascinating facts and keeps you safe. The adventure doesn’t stop there, end your journey at the Spire, 35 metres above the River Taff, a thrill unforgettable.

A great rain-or-shine option, Fun HQ is the perfect antidote to bored kids and unpredictable spring weather. This indoor family entertainment centre mixes high-energy adventure with simple, joyful play, making it a hit with little ones and older children alike. Younger visitors can dive into the three-level Active Play Zone, bursting with slides, jumps and soft-play fun.
