Born Anna Mae Bullock on 26 November 1939 in the small town of Nutbush, Tennessee, Tina Turner’s journey to global stardom is the stuff of legend. With her unmistakable raspy voice, high-octane performances and unshakeable presence, she blazed a trail through the male-dominated world of rock ‘n’ roll.

She rose to fame in the 1960s and went on to carve out a solo career that turned her into a global icon. She inspired fashion, embodied empowerment, and showed the world what it looks like to take control of your own narrative.

From anthems like ‘Proud Mary’ to the era-defining ‘What’s Love Got to Do with It’ Tina’s music transcended genres and generations. Her 1984 album ‘Private Dancer’ became a cultural touchstone, earning her four Grammy Awards and solidifying her place in music history. Her story is about more than chart-topping hits; it’s about resilience. She overcame personal struggles, reinvented herself in her forties, and emerged stronger, bolder and more brilliant than ever.

Now you can experience her inspiring story live on stage as an exhilarating celebration reveals the untold story of a woman who dared to dream fiercely, shatter barriers and defy the bounds of age, gender and race to conquer the world against all odds.
