Thrill seekers to scenery explorers - we’ve got it covered from walking and cycling trails, mountain bike trails (not for the faint hearted) to play parks and family activities including a short walk around the lake on the 1.2 mile Bluebell Walk. Many walking trails leaflets are available from the Visitor Centre or to download from our website.

Cwmcarn Forest boasts a wide range of new and improved facilities. A new playpark was completed close to the Visitor Centre. The Lakeside has seen improved pathways, new seating areas and BBQ areas. Additional car parking and trails have also been added.

Whilst on site you could tuck into a hearty breakfast or grab a cuppa at Ravens Café inside the award winning Visitor Centre which also has a small gift shop. A short stroll from the Visitor Centre takes you to the stunning Cwmcarn Lake.

As well as mixed woodlands and common land, where visitors can enjoy breath-taking views over the Estuary, and the iron age hilltop fort of Twmbarlwm.
