Cardiff Christmas Festival is Back, Bigger and Better!

Cardiff’s iconic Spiegel Theatre returns to Sophia Gardens this year, with 12 mesmerising shows in the schedule for 2025.

Cardiff Christmas Festival kicks off from 4th December, where Jack Frost: A Magical Christmas Musical will take centre stage for the whole month. But if toe tapping hilarity isn’t your thing, there’s a whole variety of acts also on offer - making it the  perfect place in the city to enjoy some festive theatrical magic.

Tickets are now on sale for Festive Fantasy: A Christmas Variety Spectacular, a brand new show direct from London’s West End. And for those who love an alternative music  night, the schedule is packed with some of the best fully staged tribute shows out there, with nights celebrating the music of Taylor Swift, Legends of Motown, Fleetwood Mac, Queen and ABBA, just to name a few.

Welsh National Opera will also be hosting Sounds of Christmas, guaranteed to raise the roof with stunning harmonies.  

But if you want to experience a show in Cardiff’s most unique setting this holiday season, you need to be quick. Some shows, such as A Christmas Carol and the first night of Bring Them Home, have already sold out, following huge demand.
