The Wetlands Centre Llanelli is looking for some helpful recruits for their Elf Academy

The chief elves will be waiting to escort new recruits down to the workshop for a wholesome afternoon of Christmas nature crafts, storytelling, wildlife spotting, singing and wrapping gifts for local people who need them - stopping along the way to meet the friendly birds that live here, of course!

Elf Academy will be running every weekend in December (Sat 3 December - Sun 18 Dec) from 1 pm - 3 pm and is included in admission or free for members and under 4s.

There will be a range of nature crafts available, and some may require a small donation to cover the costs.

Help for those in need this Christmas

If you're able to, we'd really appreciate donations of good quality toys, books and children's presents for the elves to wrap up. There's a donation station at our main entrance, and every gift will go to a very deserving local child.
